In the past, repairing a worn or damaged OEM CV joint for an ATV or UTV often required replacement of the complete CV axle, as many manufacturers don’t offer components to rebuild the OEM CV joint itself. Replacement options were limited to an expensive OEM CV joint or CV axle, or a less expensive and lower quality aftermarket CV axle.
